I have decided to research into the horror film genre to look at the different sub-genres which then could be used for our film trailer and ancillary tasks.

Gore

• Torture: Some examples of torture films include Hostel and Saw.
• Splatter: Some examples of splatter films include I Spit on Your Grave and Battle Royale.
• Extreme: Some examples of extreme films include A Serbian Film and Nekromantik.
• Cannibal: Some examples of cannibal films include Cannibal Holocaust and Cannibal Ferox.
