Filming Equipment Decision

After discussing the type of filming equipment we would use for our film trailer we came down to the decision of using both the iPhone and iPad. We choose these devices because they are very recent pieces of technology as the iPhone we are going to use is the latest model which means the quality of the camera will be very good and this is the same for the iPad. Also the reason we are using two devices is because the iPad would be better used for camera shots where it is mounted onto a tri-pod and the iPhone is for shots where a smaller device maybe needed as the iPad maybe to big for specific shots and also the iPhone is much more efficient for point of view shots and certain trunk shots. Lastly the school have tri-pods which are compatible with the Apple iPad's so this was an added bonus for us so we have asked for permission to take the tri-pods and to use them while we complete the filming process.
