In school we discussed potential locations in which we could film our trailer, looking back at research we have completed we looked at the settings and which ones fit into horror conventions. These included houses, hospitals, schools and rural locations like farms. After discussing the location we decided to go to Kayleighs house after school on that day which was Friday and Kayleigh showed us her house and we discussed potential shots which we could do in different rooms. The setting seemed perfect for the film trailer as different parts of the house had characteristics which could be used for example there was an old fashioned fire place which was surrounded in brick work also many ornaments lay around on sideboards and shelves. Also their were two sets of staircases which we believed we be a good potential shot for when the atmosphere is tense and chaotic in the trailer. Lastly we discussed other important factors like lighting, props and even sound and how to use this and link it with the setting.
